Buhari Signs 2018 Budget

President Muhammadu Buhari, who had earlier revealed in a press statement that the 2018 Appropriation Bill will be signed into law has fulfilled the promise.

Buhari, put a signature to the bill on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory

Recall that Naija News had reported that President Buhari had submitted a budget proposal of ₦8.612 trillion to the National Assembly in November 2017.

Report had it that the lawmakers had, however, increased the proposal by ₦508 billion, bringing the total figure to ₦9.12 trillion.

The National Assembly passed the budget six months after it was sent by the Executive.
