Army Repels Boko Haram Attack

Nigerian Army yesterday says it has rescued one Zainab Mohammed aged 15 years old, at Gubla who escaped from Boko Haram terrorists camp.

In a statement signed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, the troops also successfully repelled an attack by the terrorists.

The troops recovered weapons including one AK 47 rifle and ‎one Magazine containing four rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition, according to the statement.

He said that the freed hostage would be handed over to the appropriate authority on completion of investigation.
