Police Officer Arrested For Assaulting DELSU Student

The Police officer who destroyed a phone belonging to a student of the Delta State University (DELSU) has been arrested.

Naija News reports that the Police officer destroyed the phone of the DELSU student for being too expensive.

The DELSU student was said to have recently acquired the phone for ₦250,000.

A video on Wednesday surfaced on the internet capturing how the police officer smashed the phone on the ground.

The Police officer smashed the student’s expensive phone on the ground over his anger that he can not afford a ₦250,000 phone despite his 13-years of service in the Nigerian police.

The Delta state police command confirmed the arrest of the officer in a tweet shown below.
