Court Convicts Ex DG Of NIMASA Over ₦136m Fraud

Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of Federal High Court in the city of Lagos today, convicted Calistus Obi, a former acting Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency charged with ₦136 million fraud.

The court has, however, deferred sentencing to a later date.

Naija News reports that Mr. Callitus, early last year, told the court that he used part of the ₦331 million he was alleged to have diverted to build a hotel.
