N5m fine: We Are Yet To Receive Letter From NBC – Nigeria Info

The Nigeria Info, on Thursday disclosed that it is yet to receive the letter from the National Broadcasting Commission on the ₦5m fine imposed on the station over the comment of the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Obadiah.

Femi Obong-Daniels, the Group Head of Stations, Wazobia/Cool FM/Nigeria Info, further stated that the radio station is waiting for a formal notice without receiving any.

He said, “We have not received any letter. I can confirm that to you. We have been waiting, but it has not come. As of 8 pm that we are talking, we have not received anything and until we get that, we don’t have a conversation with them yet.”

Information gathered revealed that apart from the statement released by NBC, the report had also been posted on the official website of the commission.
