NLC Strike: IGP Summons Zonal AIGs, Strategic Commanders

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba has summoned Police Strategic Commanders across the country to Abuja to deliberate on how to ensure political, non-political actors and other elements from taking advantage of the planned strike and protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

Recall that President Bola Tinubu had in his inaugural speech declared that “fuel subsidy is gone,” a development that led to the hike in the price of petrol across the country.
