25 Agencies, Ministries To Spend ₦85 Billion On Vehicles In 2024

Twelve Federal Government agencies and thirteen ministries are expected to spend about ₦85 billion on vehicles in 2024.

This is more than the ₦84.7bn budgets of Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi (N37.6bn), University College Hospital, Ibadan (N27.2bn) and Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH), Ife ( ₦19.9bn).

The Ministry of Education will spend ₦17.7bn on vehicles, Ministry of Defence ₦9.04bn, Presidency, ₦8.04bn, Ministry of Health: ₦7.4bn, Ministry of Police Affairs: ₦4.95bn, and Ministry of Interior: ₦4.50bn.

Others include Ministry of Justice: ₦4.43bn, Ministry of Works: ₦3.71bn, National Security Adviser: ₦2.56bn and Secretary to the Government of the Federation: ₦1.94bn.

Others are Ministry of Education headquarters: ₦6.92bn, State House HQ: ₦6.35bn, Police Formations & Com: ₦4.11bn, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA): ₦3.63bn, Ministry of Works headquarters: ₦3.62bn. Nigerian Army: ₦3.18bn, Nigerian Immigration: ₦2.23bn, Directorate of State Security: ₦1.94bn, and Nigerian Railway Corp: ₦1.78bn.

Others are Ministry of Health HQ: ₦1.74bn, Ministry of Housing HQ: ₦1.66bn, Nigerian Airforce: ₦1.50bn, National Rural Elect Agency: ₦1.50bn, Ministry of Solid Minerals :N1.41bn, and Nigerian Navy: ₦1.35bn.
