FIFA has announced that the winner of the 2025 Club World Cup will receive an impressive $125 million, marking the highest prize money for a club football tournament structured around a seven-game format.

Three of the four quarter-finals fixtures for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup have been confirmed as Real Madrid and Juventus prepare to battle it out in the round of 16 tonight.

At 8 p.m. later today, Real Madrid will face Juventus at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami to secure one of the two remaining quarter-final slots.

Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund and Mexican club, C.F. Monterrey will play the last round of 16 at 02:00 on Wednesday, July 2.

The winners of the two aforementioned matches will complete the quarter-finals pairing and they will face off at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 5.

Note that Al-Hilal, who stunned Premier League giants, Manchester City 4-3 earlier today, will face Brazilian giants, Fluminense, in the quarter-finals at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 4.

Chelsea will face Brazilian side Palmeiras at 02:00 on Saturday, while the reigning UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain, will face off against Bayern Munich at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe might be available for the game against Juventus tonight, according to the club’s coach, Xabi Alonso.

Note that Mbappe, 26, has not played any game at the 2025 Club World Cup as he has been battling to recover from acute gastroenteritis.

“We will talk to him in the morning to make the final decision,” Alonso told reporters on Monday.

“It’s a big possibility that he makes his Club World Cup debut tomorrow, though.

“I don’t know how much, but it’s a big possibility.”
