Premier League side, Aston Villa, have completed the signing of Dutch youngster, Zepiqueno Redmond from Feyenoord earlier today, July 1.

Zepiqueno Redmond is just 19 years old and has never played professional football outside his home country. The 19-year-old Suriname-born winger has represented the Netherlands at the under-16 and under-19 levels, but he still maintains dual citizenship.

Naija News gathered that Aston Villa signed Redmond for free and the youngster penned a contract which will keep him at the Premier League club until June 2029.

Also, FC Barcelona academic graduate, Ansu Fati, has officially completed his loan move to French Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco.

The 22-year-old Spanish left-winger who spent the 2023-2024 season on loan at Brighton has the chance of remaining at Monaco permanently at the end of the coming season. But the French side must pay €11 million for that to happen.

Fati’s arrival at the French side comes after Monaco completed the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier from Bayern Munich, and former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who just returned from a drug-related ban.

Fati, who has been struggling with fitness issues in the last three seasons of his career, is expected to don the shirt number 31 during his loan spell at the French giants.
