Oliseh Warns Osimhen: “Join Premier League Now Or Regret It”

Former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh, has urged Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, to seize the moment and secure a move to the English Premier League before the opportunity slips away.
In a passionate post on 𝕏 on Wednesday, Oliseh wrote: “Victor Osimhen is at a very delicate crossroads. He needs to find his way to the Premier League in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..”
Oliseh’s remarks come as speculation continues to swirl around Osimhen’s future, with the Napoli forward yet to find a concrete suitor among Europe’s elite, despite boasting one of the most consistent goal-scoring records on the continent.
Osimhen, 26, was once valued at well over €100 million, but Napoli have reportedly lowered their asking price to €75 million to stimulate movement in a slow transfer market. Yet the anticipated Premier League scramble has not materialised.
Manchester United, long considered a natural fit, appear to have shifted focus, reportedly prioritising Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo instead. Arsenal, once among the frontrunners, cooled their interest as they weigh up other targets in midfield and defence.
In a surprising twist, Turkish giants Galatasaray have emerged as the most serious contender. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported earlier this week that the Istanbul-based club has already agreed on personal terms with Osimhen and submitted a formal offer to Napoli.
While negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, Napoli are said to be insistent on receiving the full €75 million fee in a one-time payment, a condition Galatasaray are reluctant to meet outright, but not ruling out.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian side, Al Hilal, are monitoring developments closely and are reportedly willing to meet Napoli’s financial demands.
But sources suggest that Osimhen, despite the lure of a massive payday in Saudi Arabia, prefers to remain in Europe, particularly after enjoying a successful loan spell in Istanbul last season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano weighed in on the situation via his YouTube channel, noting that Manchester United’s chances were “always slim,” citing the forward’s “firm wage expectations” and his openness to returning to Turkey, where he feels settled.
