South Africa, the defending champions, underlined their title credentials with a hard-fought 4-0 win over Mali to finish top of their group.

The Banyana Banyana will now face Senegal in a highly anticipated clash.

Nine-time champions Nigeria will take on Zambia in the quarter-finals. The Super Falcons, who are aiming for a record-extending title, will be expected to bring their A-game against a Zambian side that has shown flashes of brilliance in the tournament.

Host nation Morocco will square off against Mali in Rabat, while Ghana are set to face Algeria in what promises to be a tightly contested encounter.
