Man United Agree Deal For Bryan Mbeumo, Kyle Walker-Peters Nears West Ham Move

Manchester United have agreed a deal worth up to £70 million with Brentford for Cameroon winger Bryan Mbeumo.
This means that Bryan Mbeumo, 25, is on the verge of becoming the Red Devils’ third signing of the summer window.
The breakthrough comes after a series of failed offers, with United’s initial £55 million bid in early June and a subsequent £62.5 million proposal at the end of the month both rejected.
However, Brentford have now accepted a package believed to be £65 million upfront, with a further £5 million in performance-related add-ons.
Mbeumo, who joined the Bees in 2019 from French side Troyes, is expected to undergo a medical before Ruben Amorim’s squad flies out to the United States on Tuesday for their pre-season tour.
He is set to follow Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha and Spanish left-back Diego Leon as the club’s new recruits under Amorim.
The move also marks Brentford’s biggest-ever sale and arguably the departure of one of their most influential players.
West Ham Win Race for Kyle Walker-Peters
West Ham United have snapped up England full-back Kyle Walker-Peters on a free transfer after the player exited Southampton following the expiration of his contract.
The 28-year-old had been close to joining Turkish giants Besiktas, managed by former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, he reportedly delayed his medical amid growing interest from the Hammers, a move that prompted Besiktas to walk away from the deal on Thursday.
Now set for a new challenge in East London, Walker-Peters brings vast Premier League experience, having racked up 202 appearances and six goals for the Saints.
He was a key part of their promotion from the Championship in 2023-2024, and featured 35 times in their return to the top flight last season, registering two assists.
West Ham, who finished a disappointing 14th last season, have been active in the transfer market.
The club recently completed a £19 million signing of Senegalese defender El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague and turned Jean-Clair Todibo’s loan from Nice into a permanent stay.
