‘PSG Attempt To Hijack Osimhen’s Galatasaray Return’

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly moving to hijack Victor Osimhen’s much-anticipated return to Galatasaray.
This comes just as Napoli, under newly appointed manager Antonio Conte, excluded Osimhen from their 30-man pre-season squad heading to Dimaro Folgarida.
Osimhen, 26, recently ended a prolific loan spell with the Turkish champions, where he netted a staggering 37 goals in 41 appearances, reigniting his reputation as one of Europe’s most lethal finishers.
He had submitted a medical note excusing himself from Napoli’s pre-season tests, a clear signal of his intention to return to Galatasaray permanently.
But according to L’Equipe, PSG sporting director Luis Campos, who brought Osimhen to LOSC Lille in 2019, is now in direct contact with the striker, exploring the possibility of bringing him to Paris instead.
Campos’ intervention could derail Galatasaray’s ongoing negotiations with Napoli, who are holding firm to a €75 million valuation for the player. PSG’s sudden interest poses a serious complication, especially given Campos’ longstanding relationship with Osimhen.
Meanwhile, respected transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Thursday that negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray are actively ongoing.
In a post on 𝕏, he wrote: “Negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray for Victor Osimhen are again underway right now. Napoli sent their counter-proposal to Galatasaray, ready to make a decision soon on new conditions. Osimhen keeps waiting.”
Sources close to the deal say Galatasaray are still optimistic. The Turkish giants are working out a payment structure that meets Napoli’s demands, reportedly €50 million upfront, with the remaining €25 million to be paid by 2026. A letter of credit has been offered to guarantee full payment, though administrative delays could stall the final agreement.
