Meet Loretta Uyoyo Adewoyin: The Nigerian Creator Changing The Way Women See Themselves

Loretta Uyoyo Adewoyin (née Igbruke) is a Nigerian content creator, author, and women’s empowerment advocate who is capturing hearts and changing lives.
Hailing from Delta State, Nigeria, Loretta is the first of four children. Her passion for storytelling began early. At just nine years old, she began writing short stories in the back of her school notebooks. Her classmates would take turns reading them, eager for her next chapter. It was clear from the beginning that she had a voice that resonated.
Today, Loretta has grown that voice into a powerful digital platform with over 191,000 followers across social media. Her content, centered around femininity, confidence, personal growth, and what she calls “the soft life,” has struck a chord with thousands of women worldwide. Her highest-performing video currently has over 3.9 million views, with several others surpassing the million-view mark. But the numbers only tell part of the story.
Loretta is the author of Becoming Her: The Level-Up Guide for the Woman Who Wants More, a practical and emotionally intelligent guidebook for women seeking to glow up in every area of their lives. Released on June 18, 2025, the book quickly gained traction not just for its aesthetic appeal, but also for its honest, vulnerable, and powerful advice. Over 200 copies have already been sold, and the testimonials are overwhelming.
But Loretta’s mission is deeper than likes, comments, or even book sales.
“When I started, I used to tell myself, for every problem one woman goes through, there are thousands more going through the same thing. But not everyone has the tools to recover,” she says. “So I started creating content to teach women how to level up, how to be confident, how to believe in themselves, how to know that they can get the education, the money, the job, the relationship, or the healing they want.”
Her approach is soft yet firm. She teaches women how to glow without being loud, fake, or mean, and her message is reaching the women who need it most.
Daily, she receives messages from women around the world thanking her for changing their lives. Some say her posts made them cry, while others say they finally found the courage to believe in themselves. One woman even told her that because of Loretta’s influence, she stopped trolling people online. Another shared that she’s now planning a solo trip to Zanzibar for the first time — inspired by Loretta’s encouragement.
Her comment sections and DMs are filled with raw emotion: “Your videos are really helping since I started watching. May you never lack happiness in your life.”
“You’re really great with your words. I couldn’t feel anymore me than I’m feeling from you.”
“Since I started watching your content, my life has started to change. You’re changing my life, girl.”
These messages aren’t anomalies. They are the norm and a reflection of the deep emotional resonance her work creates.
Her proudest moment so far? Knowing that she’s creating change.
“I didn’t plan to go viral. I was just sharing from my heart. But when I saw the saves, the shares, the tears, the DMs. I knew I had tapped into something sacred,” she shares. “This is bigger than content. It’s a movement.”
With one published book already making waves, Loretta is currently working on her second, How to Act Rich Before You Become Rich, and building a lifestyle brand that merges beauty, elegance, self-worth, and strategy. Her long-term goals include landing a magazine cover, being the face of a global skincare campaign, and seeing her brand on shelves across the world.
For Loretta, this is just the beginning. But for the women she’s touched, she’s already unforgettable.
