Matthew McConaughey shared memories of his son Levi’s back after scrolling through Instagram on March 2, along with his wife Camila Alves’ fear of airplane turbulence.

True Detective actor Matthew McConaughey, 53, posted photos of his son Levi’s surfing injuries on Instagram on Thursday. “Surfing souvenirs,” he captioned the photo of his son’s back at age 14. Levi was wearing blue swim trunks and holding his surfboard in his right arm on the pole.

Camila Alves, 41, son of Mateo and his wife, was sporting not one, but three bandages on his back. One of the bandages was small, while the other two were huge white bandages with plenty of gauze tape. Ouch!

Immediately after the father of three tweeted the photo to his 7.4 million followers, several of them commented on Levi’s injuries.

One admirer said,

“Looks like surfing injuries in Hawaii,” while another added: “Oops! Done and done.” Another fan pointed out that some dads would probably be proud of the surfing injuries, while some mums would be worried.

They commented,

“All the fathers said, ‘That’s a boy,’ and all the mothers said, ‘Poor baby!’”

Levi’s most recent surfing “memories” coincide with his mother’s terrifying experience in airline turbulence on March 1. On Wednesday night, Camila boarded a Lufthansa flight and filmed the terrifying experience on Instagram.

“On last night’s flight, the plane dropped about 4,000 feet, seven people were taken to the hospital and everything was flying everywhere,” he said in the caption of the video.

To protect the privacy of those around me, that’s all I’m revealing, but the plane was CHAOS and the turbulence continues. Before thanking the local hotel, the model informed her followers that everyone on board was safe and sound.

After the terrifying experience of the trip, the mother bear mentioned that she rested in a nearby pub.

“And we arrived at the bar with a minute to spare… “I slept well, boarded a new flight today, continued my journey,” he wrote.

Several of her fans, including actress Tamera Mowry, 44, later expressed their support for Camila in the comments section. “Wow! She wrote: “Happy you are safe!” while one fan added: “Glad everyone is safe.”

However, just four days earlier, Camila and Matthew tweeted a beautiful family photo of their 10-year-old son, Livingston, getting a haircut from his dad. She captioned the Feb. 26 post, “Then this happened…”
