BIOGRAPHY
Born in Manchester into a family of writers and actors, Phoebe Dynevor was immersed in the arts from childhood. Inspired by her mother, an actress, the young Englishwoman followed in her footsteps and began her career in the drama series Waterloo Road , at the age of 14. She plays Siobhan Mailey, a contemptuous schoolgirl from a rich family.

This first appearance on screen allowed Phoebe Dynevor to land many other roles on television. She notably appears as a regular on Prisoners’ Wives , The Village , Dickensian and Snatch . She plays respectively a gangster’s daughter, a teenage girl in love, a hat maker and the girlfriend of a criminal. In 2017, the young actress joined the cast of Younger , where she played Clare, wife of Josh ( Nico Tortorella ) and former bartender.

Phoebe Dynevor achieves international recognition in 2020, thanks to the new Netflix production, The Bridgerton Chronicles . In this historical series produced by Shonda Rhimes , she plays the heroine, Daphnée, a girl from a good family forced to ally herself with the Duke of Hastings ( Regé-Jean Page ) for the purposes of an aristocratic marriage.
